Local community joins the battle against childhood cancer
In an effort to join the battle against childhood cancer, local apartment community in Warner Robins will host Alex’s Lemonade Stand events throughout the area. Wellston Ridge Apartments will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand Pool Party on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 1 – 7PM, 200 Olympia Drive, Warner Robins, Ga. 31093. Babcock & Brown Residential is raising money Company wide for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a fight against childhood cancer. Wellston Ridge Apartments will team up with the community of Warner Robins to raise awareness of just how serious the epidemic of childhood cancer is. This is the biggest challenge we have ever faced, and we plan to raise money one cup at a time. Food, Fun in the Sun by the Pool, Smiley the Clown, Moonwalk (bouncy), Face Painting, Ice Cream, Italian Ice, BBQ Chicken Plates for $5 donations. We are also holding several raffles during the events planned, such as $50 AMEX Card, $50 Johnny Carino’s Gift Card, and A Free House Pressure Washing Valued at $350 plus many more items to raffle off, as all winners will be announced September 16, 2009
