We live in the city limits of Macon. We have a good size lot but we have hardly any grass. I have five kids and they have to play in this mess of a yard. When it rains since we have no grass your yard washes up to our patio, and also into our driveway. I literally have to shovel the dirt back into the yard from our parking area. All of my neighbors have nice green lawns. The pictures you see is what my whole yard looks like! Our carpet has taken as much as it can from the mess being brought inside from our messy yard. Please help us and our kids by rescuing our lawn.
Please Help! My kids deserve a yard!

Out of all the entries, this yard has not one strand of grass. These kids deserve a place to play without having to play in the dirt. This is Georgia, not the middle of the desert. Please give them a yard makeover!!!!!!

I vited for you all. Your yard looks like it could use some help and if you have kids that's even more reason to get things looking nice for them. Good luck!

Both of these parents work hard and everything they do is for their kids. Maintaining a lawn is one thing but starting from the ground up (pun intended) isn't easy. They need help and they deserve it!

The Pinholsters are caring, loving and dedicated parents. Everything centers on the children. They would love to be able to give their kids a decent yard but financially they cannot make it a priority. PLEASE GIVE THESE CHILDREN A YARD!!!!

Wisteria is SO beautiful in the spring, but man can it take over a yard in a hurry! It's almost as bad as kudzu. Good luck, and may the best... err... worst lawn win!

Thanks for the comments, but there is a lot of grading and work that needs to be done first. Roots from old stumps holes and Wisteria is an ongoing battle. I've tried to do the work myself but there is way too much!

This is a nice family who just spent the money to have several trees cut down. After that great expense and with 5 kids, their cash flow is probably pretty low. I think they deserve this big al! No need to be rude to people you know nothing about.

I agree with big Al. I had difficulty growing gras in the back. The seed always blew away. Finally, I spread more seed, covered it with straw and watered it twice daily. It's now as nice as my sodded front lawn.
