Woods are taking it Back

At one time I had grass and trees in my yard .
But in march of 2007 we had back to back Thunder storms .One night we heard a loud thump that shook my house .
The next morning we found a small tree had hit the house, so I knew then the big pine had to go. I hire a logger to remove all the trees around the house, my yard has never been the same again. No grass , black berrys and sweatgum trees So I need your Help to Get my Yard going in the right direction again. Thanks Steve
