the beginning...

The little hill that couldn't...

We bought our first house about one year ago. Being first time homebuyers we were very excited and thought we could do it all! We had big plans for the backyard, little did we know how much work it would be. We began by trying to clear it. With some success with that my husband started the stairs that would allow you access to the top without climbing your way through the mud(notice in the pictures, those are almost washed away). Once we decided we couldn't handle it on our own we called in the landscapers. We had 3 people turn us down completly!!!! We have had 5 trees removed, trees fall through our fence, its a river/mudpuddle whenever it rains, stink horne mushrooms because of all the wood mulch, and stumps that can't be removed because its on a hill. Please help, we know it could be a wonderful backyard and I hope that everyone agrees with us. ~Jeffrey and Keri Hall Centerville
