My daughter, Be-Atrice, met her fiancé, Troy, about fourteen years ago. This is all thanks to me for sending her over to Taco Bell to get a “Choco Taco”, one of those lil ice cream sandwiches. Little did I know that she was embarking on a journey that would change the course of her life. At that time, she was in school at Georgia Tech and working part-time at Shoney’s just to keep some money in her pockets. She and Troy have been dating for so long and I believe they are truly meant to be together. Troy has proposed to her twice but she was still in school and still trying to get her feet on solid ground. Well, now they are both established and have decided that they are ready to settle down and start a family. They are expecting a baby in September and have decided not to have a wedding because they would rather spend their money investing in a house and getting prepared for the new baby. While this sounds like the right thing to do, I would still love for Be-Atrice and Troy to be able to share this special occasion with both of their families. They are getting married by their pastor this June 14. Well, again this is my baby and I want the best for her. If I were able, I would give her the wedding of her dreams; unfortunately, me or her dad are not able to assist financially because we are both retired on disability. Be-Atrice has always been a hard worker and she’s a very dedicated, passionate person who loves her family. Just two years ago, she moved back to Macon to help care for me after my Rheumatoid Arthritis had progressed. Anyway, I have always wanted the best for her. She is my only daughter and my youngest child. You always want the best for your kids and you always want them to do better in life than you have. I remember getting married at the courthouse and I would love for Be-Atrice and Troy to be able to enjoy their wedding day and be able to look back on it and smile, for many years to come. Please help me help them have the wedding of their dreams. Thank you.
