Tornadoes on ground in southwestern OK

Much of southwestern OK is under a tornado warning or a tornado watch until 9 p.m. The severe weather should enter the metro around 6 p.m. The storms are currently in Tillman County and are headed northeast.

Apache, OK (KFOR) -- Much of southwestern OK is under a tornado warning or a tornado watch until 9 p.m. The severe weather should enter the metro around 6 p.m. The storms are currently in Tillman County and are headed northeast.

The severe storms are coming through just northwest of Apache.

Tipton, Frederick, Manitou and Snyder have been hit by tornadoes.

A tornado, possibly an EF-2 or EF-3, was on the ground for at least 20 minutes on west side of Manitou.

A large tornado was reported on ground west of Tipton and Frederick, could be an EF-2 or stronger.

A dairy farm four miles south of Tipton has been damaged.

Power lines are also down in the area.
