The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department says they will not be issuing burn permits for the next several months due to a statewide burn ban.

The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department says they will not be issuing burn permits for the next several months due to a statewide burn ban.

The Georgia Environmental Protection Division issued the burn ban for the entire state of Georgia beginning May, 1st through September 30th.

The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department says they will not issue any burn permits during the statewide ban.
