Don't tell Mother Nature that General Beauregard Lee predicted an early spring - she won't listen! Predicted one week in advance by StormTrack Central's team of meteorologists, a wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain fell across north central Georgia Wednesday night into Thursday morning, leaving behind some minor accumulation, forcing some schools and businesses to delay opening for the day.
Those ready for General Beauregard Lee's "Early Spring" will finally get their wish - a warming trend is forecast to kick off this weekend, and by the middle of next week, we'll be closing in on that elusive 70 degree mark!
