High pressure will control our forecast for at least one more day. A cold front coming in from the north and west will serve to increase our cloud cover a bit for Thursday and Friday. A second front inbound for the weekend will force us to include an afternoon shower and storm mention, hopefully bring much needed rain to the region. Current indications are that this week's increased humidity will drop off early next week, taking us to more comfortable humidity levels.
Updating you on the tropics, the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine continue to bring rain to the midwest. Elsewhere in the tropics, showers and storms are expected in the Caribbean courtesy of the remnants Tropical Storm Gaston. The rest of the Atlantic basin is quiet for now.
