A 69-year-old woman from Tucker, Georgia, surrendered to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office this morning, admitting she stole hundreds of items from a Milledgeville cemetery.
Neoma Brown has been charged with one count of theft by taking.
Capt. Brad King said the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office began receiving complaints about six months ago that memorial items were missing from Memorial Park Cemetery, off Log Cabin Road in Milledgeville.
Brown admitted she would come to town to visit her sister and them stop by the cemetery and take the things she liked on her way home.
Detectives found 250 to 300 of the missing items in her home in Tucker.
