The Guardian Center in Perry is looking for a group of volunteers to serve as "victims" during a weekend training session for a group of U.S. Marines on Aug. 17-19.
The volunteers will serve as "victims" of a nuclear bomb blast that the Marines will be assigned to find and rescue.
The center needs people between 18 and 70 years old who can give about 12 hours of time to the drill. Volunteers will be provided with food and a place to nap.
Volunteers should be prepared to get dirty and wet. Women volunteers are asked to wear a modest swimsuit under clothes as some clothes may be removed during the rescue.
The exercise will begin at 10 p.m. on Friday and continue around the clock.
If you are interested, call the Guardian Center at 478-224-5700.
