The Houston County Sheriff's Office identified the victims of the double homicide discovered Monday morning off N. Houston Lake Road.
The deceased were identified as Shaland McConnell, 30, and Ruben Miranda, 32, both of Jonesboro.
The sheriff's office said neither victim had identification when the bodies were found, and that authorities wanted to be certain of their identities before contacting their families and making their identities known.
On Wednesday, Houston County Sheriff's investigators arrested Justice Bernard Evans, 20, of Macon, on two counts of murder, two counts of concealing the death of another, and one count of tampering with evidence.
Evans is being held without bond in the Houston County Law Enforcement Center.
On Tuesday, Houston County Sheriff's investigators arrested Thomas Kelley and Coleman Crouch in connection with the murders.
Kelley and Crouch are being charged with murder and hindering apprehension.
Police on Monday said two men were shot dead at a house on Chadwick Road, and their bodies were dumped in a wooded area about five miles away, near the intersection of Hwy 41, Hwy 49, and N. Houston Lake Road.
Neighbors told WGXA the house was a rental home that many people lived in.
They said occupants of the house would speed down the street, rev up cars, peel out of the driveway, play loud music, shout and argue.
Earlier on Monday morning, a man who lived at the home crashed his truck into a drainage ditch and knocked down a neighbor's mailbox.
Investigators said Monday they learned of the double murder around 5 a.m. and didn't know if the crash was connected with the shooting. Investigators said they discovered the victim's bodies around noon Monday.
