DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — Prosecutors are expected to call more witnesses Thursday in the perjury trial of Andrea Sneiderman.
On Wednesday, prosecutors called police detectives to testify and played an audio recording of investigators interviewing Sneiderman after her husband's death. Sitting at the defense table, Sneiderman appeared to cry and dab at tears several times.
Her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, was shot in November 2010 outside a suburban Atlanta preschool. Andrea Sneiderman's former boss Hemy Neuman was convicted in the killing, but was found to be mentally ill.
Prosecutors initially said Sneiderman arranged her husband's killing, but murder charges against her were dropped. She now faces charges of making false statements, hindering an investigation and perjury.
Prosecutors have alleged Andrea Sneiderman was having an affair with Neuman. She has denied any romantic relationship.
