Daniel Bryan Koon, 40, was arrested Wednesday morning by the Middle Georgia Regional Fugitive Task Force and charged with robbing the Publix on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. on Tuesday.
Koon was arrested on a Bibb County Sheriff's warrant at the Villager Lodge, located at 5009 Harrison Road.
The robbery at the Publix grocery store, occurred just after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators obtained photographs of the suspect and the vehicle that he was driving during the robbery incident.
A person who subscribes to the Sheriff’s Office Email Update called the Sheriff’s Office after spotting Koon's vehicle in the parking lot of the Pet’s Super Market, located on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. not far from the Publix.
Sheriff’s Investigators identified Koon, of Macon, as the suspect and warrants were issued for his arrest Tuesday evening.
Members of the Middle Georgia Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb Sheriff’s Deputies continued to look for Koon throughout the night, until he was located at the Villager Lodge on Harrison Road.
Koon is currently being held at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, without bond, for the charge of Robbery. Koon also has a Probation Violation hold from State Court.
