Parts of downtown Macon got a new look Tuesday morning for Wednesday's planned back ups.
Blocks of Third Street between Pine and Oak Streets were closed Tuesday for the painting of the city's first reverse angle parking spots.
Mayor Robert Reichert was on the scene supervising and says he intends to have this kind of parking set up along the Second Street Cooridor.
Signs will be posted to help show people how to park in the new spaces. City Council approved the design and construction last month.
