Just hours after the hard landing at New York's LaGuardia Airport, a similar close call today at the Macon Regional Airport.
It happened just after noon today. The plane landed safely with five passengers on board.
Faulty nose gear is what is suspected to be the cause. We're told the plane did a few circles around the airport as officials tried to determine the extent of landing gear problems.
We understand all five passengers were not injured, changed planes and continued their flight.
