A nighttime drive through the woods killed one person this weekend.
The Jones County Sheriff's office reported that about 11 p.m. Saturday, five people were in a truck driving through a wooded area off Folendore Road.
The Sheriff's office reports that Robert Greiner, 43, was driving with four other adults in the truck when it went over an embankment and nosedived into a pond.
The truck overturned, trapping Greiner inside.
The four other adults were able to get out of the truck and were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment.
Greiner's body was removed from the truck by rescuers.
