A Sandersville man is in the Washington County Jail on charges that he broke into a house and fired a shot at the person inside.
Washington County Sheriff Thomas Smith reported that Michael George Braddy broke into a house on West Brown Street in Davisboro with a gun. The person inside the home, who was not identified for safety concerns, was fired at by Braddy, who then left the area before police arrived.
The sheriff said Braddy had been ordered to stay away from the house following a previous incident.
Michael George Braddy, 23 years old, was arrested and charged with burglary, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, cruelty to a child, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm with an altered identification, and criminal trespass.
