Two men and a juvenile were arrested by Macon Police Tuesday in connection with the theft of a car. Macon Police say the men stole the car and gave it to the juvenile.
Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Joe Davis Street when they discovered the car had been stolen. Two men and a juvenile were inside the car.
Jerry Ross, 20, and Harold Johnson, 17 were taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and held on charges of theft by taking auto. Ross also had a Superior Court probation violation.
This is Johnson’s first arrest in Bibb County and Jerry Ross’s 11th, dating back to late 2009.
The juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention center and charged with theft by receiving. Additionally, stolen property was recovered from the vehicle.
