A Houston County jury deliberates the fate of two people accused of killing a man in what's been described as a robbery gone wrong.
30 year old William Slaton and 28 year old Jacob Pike are accused of choking and then dumping Justin Klaffka's body in the Ocmulgee River back in April of last year.
Houston County district attorney George Hartwig tells WGXA the case went to the jury earlier this afternoon and he expects a verdict later today.
The pair is facing charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, kidnapping with bodily injury and aggravated assault
