DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — Jury selection is set to begin today in Decatur in the trial of a woman who was once accused of arranging for her husband to be killed. DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James dropped murder charges against Andrea Sneiderman Friday in the November 2010 slaying of Rusty Sneiderman outside a preschool in suburban Atlanta. She still faces charges including perjury and making false statements as well as hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta police say they're welcoming 35 new officers to the force. Department spokesman Carlos Campos says the new officers will graduate from the Atlanta Police Academy tonight at City Hall.
