ATLANTA (AP) — Medical Examiner's investigators say a man who fell over a railing and died at Atlanta's pro baseball stadium didn't have injuries other than those from the fall and that toxicology tests are pending. Officials say Ronald Homer of Conyers fell 85 feet to his death at Turner Field on Monday night.
APALACHICOLA, Fla. (AP) — Florida Gov. Rick Scott says the state is going to sue the state of Georgia over its increased consumption of water that is limiting flow to the Panhandle region. Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal reacted harshly, saying Florida would waste taxpayers money in court when the matter could be settled through an agreement.
DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — A judge has denied a request by Andrea Sneiderman's defense team to dismiss the case against her as her trial continues in an Atlanta suburb. Her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, was fatally shot in 2010 outside a suburban Atlanta preschool and prosecutors say the wife later lied to police investigating her husband's death.
JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) — The prosecution has rested its case against a metro Atlanta sheriff who is on trial for several felony corruption charges. Prosecutors rested their case against Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill Tuesday afternoon after four days of testimony.
