One of the most popular dances for all ages is line dancing. Line dance instructor Dianne Kent tells us why more and more people are using their boots to get moving. Dianne Kent: Line dancing is such a fun way to exercise. You need to keep moving Dianne Kent knows the latest dance moves and knows how to change with the times to keep her students happy. Dianne Kent: Line dancing has changed so much. it is not like achy breaking. we have waltzes, rhumbas we have chachas, waltzes have been favorites with the people The number one line dance out now is the Shuffle Boogie Soul, done to a track by Honkytonk, the song has gone viral and is a flash mob favorite. Students learn dances like in class and make new friends when they go out on the dance floor. Susan Oliver : I think line dancing is a lot of fun. It is a great way to move to the music, it takes coordination and concentration. Diane says the group exercise keeps couples and singles coming back to learn more and more new dances. Dianne Kent: That is the beauty of line dancing, you do not have to have a partner., so ladies can come in and learn to dance. Ron Smith: Line dancing is awesome, you learn all the styles of dance and you don't even know your partner. You can come on here, do swing, boogie, rhumba, chacha waltz all to the music of line dancing with all your friends. Perhaps the biggest benefit of line dancing is what it does for your health and your spirit.
