CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery declined 1.00 cents to 6.49 1/2 a bushel; September corn was 2.5 cents higher at $4.7475 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.24 3/4 a bushel; while September soybeans were 13.5 cents higher at 12.07 a bushel.
Beef prices were mixed, and pork prices gained on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .70 cent higher at $1.2162 a pound; September feeder cattle rose .33 cent to $1.5320 a pound; October lean hogs unchanged to $0.8645 a pound.
