ATLANTA (AP) — An assistant principal from Douglas County has been named the next president of the Professional Association of Georgia Educators.
The group announced this week that Emily Felton, assistant principal at Factory Shoals Middle School, will take the helm of the organizations, which has some 84,000 members statewide.
Felton has served on the group's board of directors for several years. She was elected during the group's summer conference in June.
