Students at Rutland High School got a peak from around the world Tuesday night.
A group of international studies students gathered at the schools library to Skype with students in Macon's Japanese sister city of Kurobe.
The students prepared questions about culture and living to ask their Japanese counterparts. One student says she also participates in the foreign exchange program, so the skype opportunity is exciting for her.
Macon Mayor Robert Reichert was also at the event to meet the Japanese students. Staff members at the school say they try to connect the students with other people from all of Macon's sister cities.
