HINDER CALL OFF TOUR
UNDATED (AP) — Hinder just can't catch a break this summer. Earlier this month, singer Austin Winkler had dropped out of their tour for personal reasons, forcing the band to find replacement singers. On Sunday night, their tour bus was cut off and got in an accident that injured several members of the band and crew. The nature and extent of their injuries is not known. However, the band is under doctor's orders to take time off to heal. Hinder plan to resume their tour August 10 in Troy, Ohio.
CHRIS BROWN PLEADS NOT-GUILTY TO HIT-AND-RUN CHARGE
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Not guilty. That's the plea Chris Brown's lawyer has entered in a hit-and-run case against the singer. Brown was charged after a May 12 traffic accident in which he is suspected of rear-ending a car stopped at a red light and refusing to give the other driver his license or insurance information. A trial in that case is set for August 15. Brown was also charged with driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance. Those lesser charges were dismissed yesterday after Brown's attorney presented proof he was licensed in Virginia — the singer's home state. Brown's probation was revoked as a result of the accident — though he remains free.
