Henley Has Up and Down 3rd Round

Rick Devens

Macon native Russell Henley is tied for 21st place at the US Open, with a three round score of even par.

Henley came up just short on an eagle attempt six holes into the third round. He was able to tap in for his first birdy of the day.

On hole eight Henley sunk a mid-range putt for another birdy and one hole late came out of the sand to sink a third birdy.

Henley collected four birdies on the front nine and was tied for third at the turn.

The back nine was not as kind to the Macon native.

Henley had four bogey's on the back nine and finished his round at even par.
