The Houston County Sharks defended their number one ranking today at the State Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.
After beating the Henry County Hurricanes, 22-6, in a morning semifinal, the Sharks went on to beat the Clayton Eagles, 28-18, for the state's JV Championship.
The team, which is coached by Brenda Arnett and Molly Griffith, is made up of athletes from across Houston County.
Houston County Sharks Roster: Faith Beiker, Kelly Jordan, Min Soo Kim, Jordan Kozloski, Ben Masters, Kierra Miles, David Presley, Jeff Sweeney, Jeffrey Wiggins, Deyonce Williams, and Tristan Phillips.
