Texas A&M shocks top-ranked Alabama

(CNN) -- Top-ranked Alabama was defeated Saturday night by No. 15 Texas A&M, 29-24, shaking up college football's BCS National Championship picture.
With less than two minutes left in the game, a dramatic interception by the Aggies' Deshazor Everett at his team's goal line stunned the crowd in Tuscaloosa.
Quarterback Johnny Manziel, a redshirt freshman sensation, passed for two touchdowns and 253 yards and rushed for 92 in leading A&M to the upset.
Texas A&M led 20-0 at the end of the first quarter, but Alabama clawed back despite costly turnovers.
Despite the loss, Alabama, the defending national champion, still has a slim shot at this year's crown. Going into Saturday's evening games, Notre Dame, Kansas State and Oregon were undefeated.
The Crimson Tide, 9-1, survived a scare last weekend, hanging on against LSU.
The Aggies were 1-10 in previous games against No. 1 teams.
