Punter faces public intoxication charge

UGA's backup punter, 21 year old Trent Dittmer, was arrested for public intoxication early Tuesday morning in downtown Athens. He was released on bail several hours later.

Police say they heard a loud disturbance and then witnessed Dittmer hit a male in the face with his fist.

Dittmer is a senior walk-on, and has never punted in a Bulldogs game.
