ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - New Georgia coach Mark Fox has granted signee
Daniel Miller of Loganville a release from the letter-of-intent he
signed with the school.
The 6-foot-11 Miller signed with Georgia during the early
signing period in November, which was before athletic director
Damon Evans fired former coach Dennis Felton in January and hired
Fox this month.
Fox said Miller's family requested that Miller be freed to sign
with another school.
Fox said Tuesday in a statement released by the school he met
with Miller's family last weekend and agreed to the request.
"I wish him well in the career path he chooses for himself,"
Fox said.
