ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities have recovered the pilot's body and found the wreckage of a small plane that crashed in a marsh outside Savannah and are working to determine the cause.

A spokeswoman for the FAA told The Associated Press on Monday that the single-engine, 1968 Cessna 172 plane had been flying to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport from North Carolina on Sunday when it went missing.

The pilot, whose name wasn't released, was the only person on the flight.
