NewsCentral Staff

HINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a 30-year-old man is facing charges of DUI and drag racing after plowing into a house early Tuesday morning.

WTOC-TV reports Garvari Dixon-Lewis, of Hinesville, was racing a second driver - identified as Howard Craig - when he tried rounding a curve, lost control of the vehicle and crashed through the living room of a house.

There were no reported injuries. Authorities say Craig was also cited for drag racing in the Christmas morning crash.

Hinesville is about 40 miles southwest of Savannah in Liberty County.
