NewsCentral Staff

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Norcross police say a suspect in a home invasion robbery pointed a gun at a baby's head before demanding money and fleeing the scene.

WGCL-TV reports the incident occurred Dec. 29 and three women were inside the home at the time. Police say a woman was in a bedroom of the home when she heard someone knocking on the front door. Shortly after the knock, police say the masked suspects forced the door open and stormed inside.

Police say one of the suspects grabbed the baby by the arm, pointed a gun at the child's head and demanded money while other suspects rifled through the women's personal belongings.

Authorities say the suspects fled with $400 they found in a purse.

Norcross is about 20 miles northeast of Atlanta.
