Ga. driver identified in fatal school bus crash

ODUM, Ga. (AP) - Georgia State Patrol has identified the driver of a pickup truck who died in a crash with a school bus in south Georgia.

State patrol spokeswoman Tracey Watson says 59-year-old Samuel Carr was killed when his pickup truck hydroplaned on an Odum highway and sent him into the path of an oncoming school bus Monday afternoon.

Thirteen students were hospitalized with minor injuries after the accident.

Odum is about 50 miles west of Brunswick.
