Ex-employee accused of treatment center attacks

NewsCentral Staff

AUSTELL, Ga. (AP) - A former security guard is accused of sexually assaulting women at a mental health and substance abuse facility west of Atlanta.

Authorities say 43-year-old Moses Roscoe "Moe" Eaddy was taken into custody on Oct. 29.

Cobb County Jail records show that he's charged with rape and sexual assault by a corrections or disability services employee. The jail records do not indicate whether he has an attorney.

Authorities say Eaddy is accused of attacking women on Sept. 10 and 17 in a storage room at The Circle in Austell. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said the case involves three women with disabilities.

The Marietta Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/VUO3H3) that the center provides mental health, substance abuse and developmental disability treatment to residents of Cobb and Douglas counties.
