Child dies, 3 others injured in Conyers car crash

CONYERS, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff's officials in Rockdale County say a child was killed in a two-car crash in Conyers.
Sheriff's investigator Michael Camp says the accident involving a van and a SUV happened on West Hightower Trail near Zingara Road around 4:40 Thursday afternoon.
Camp says three people were taken to Atlanta area hospitals and authorities are unsure of their conditions. Details on the child's age and gender were not immediately available.
Camp says the cause of the crash is unclear and authorities Thursday night were unsure of whether charges would be filed.
Conyers is about 25 miles east of downtown Atlanta.
