JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (AP) - The Fulton County Medical Examiner has released details on the deaths of a family whose bodies were found in a metro Atlanta apartment Monday.

Shivinder Singh Grover, 52; and his wife, Damanjit Kaur Grover, 47, were found Monday in Johns Creek, along with their sons, 5-year-old Gurtej Singh Grover; and 12-year-old Sartaj Singh Grover.

Investigators Tuesday said the boys died from sharp wounds to their neck, their mother died of blunt force trauma to her head and Shivinder Singh hanged himself. The medical examiner's office would not disclose any additional details and the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear.

Police say the slayings were the first homicides to be recorded in Johns Creek since the city about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta incorporated in December of 2006.
