Man Arrested For Shooting Child

Celeste Smith

CHAMBLEE, Ga. (AP) - Police say a second man has been arrested in connection with the shooting an 11-year-old Chamblee boy.

Chamblee Police Chief Marc Johnson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that 19-year-old Stedmund Anthony of northeast Atlanta is accused of driving 18-year-old Cody Dane Bauer to the scene of the shooting.

The boy, Nicholas Sheffey was asleep in a bedroom at his home. Police believe his 16-year-old brother was the intended victim of the shooting. Nicholas Sheffey is in critical condition in an Atlanta area hospital.

Police say the 16-year-old brother had received threats before the attack.
