RICHLAND, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in south Georgia that left three people dead.

A fire engulfed a home on Caboose Street in Richland Sunday evening and officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation say the body of 87-year-old Willie Peal Walton was found in the back of the house.

Officials say two others, 65-year-old Barbara Ann Walton and 59-year-old Ernest Clyde Walton, were found lying in their beds.

The cause of the blaze was unclear Monday afternoon.
