PEMBROKE, Ga. (AP) - State fire officials say they're investigating a blaze that killed two young children and injured a third child and two adults.

Glenn Allen, a spokesman for Georgia's insurance and fire commissioner, says the fire was reported around 4 a.m. Friday at a manufactured home in the small community of Ellabell in Bryan County.

Allen tells The Associated Press that the children who were killed were ages 3 and 4. He said a 6-year-old child and two adults were taken to a hospital.

Few other details were immediately available early Friday.

Ellabell is about 25 miles west of Savannah.
