2 people shot to death in Atlanta are identified

ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities have identified two people who were gunned down and found in a car in southwest Atlanta.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified one of the men as 25-year-old Anthony Jackson of Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the other man was 25-year-old Miguel Hayes, whose address is unknown.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday on Asbury Lane.

Atlanta police Lt. Paul Guerrucci said both men were found in a car. Police say a third person sustained a wound to the hand, and received treatment at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police said Thursday they were continuing to investigate the shooting.
