STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a house fire south of Atlanta that killed one person and injured another.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out Sunday morning in northern Henry County, southeast of Atlanta.
Henry County Fire Chief Bill Lacy said firefighters arrived at the home shortly before 6 a.m. and found two people in the home.
He said one person was taken to Piedmont Henry Medical Center, where she later died.
The other person was flown to a burn center in Augusta for treatment.
Lacy declined to identify the two fire victims, but said more details about the fire would be released Monday.
