Zoo Atlanta hosting educator appreciation day

ATLANTA (AP) - The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning is partnering with Zoo Atlanta to host Educator Appreciation Day.

Early Care and Learning Spokesman Reg Griffin says educators carrying proper identification will receive free zoo admission and $2 off for each guest they bring along on March 9.

Educators will be offered chances to speak with the zoo's education staff and take advantage of other exclusive offers during their visit.

Griffin says the educator appreciation event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
