Working World: Warner Robins Music Store Celebrates Grand Opening

Linnie Supall

A Houston County music store is jamming out to the sweet sounds of success. NewsCentral’s Linnie Supall sits down with a small business owner who just launched his second music store.

From the symphony to hip hop and rock and roll, this store is making quite the musical movement.

“It’s all about sharing what you know and bringing people to the line to show people what they can do,” says Foster McMullen of Music Masters.

For six years Music Masters has been topping the charts of the working world, and this past weekend they celebrated their grand opening in Warner Robins.

“The entertainment business, when the economy is down, tends to go up though we have seen fewer lessons out of Byron we decided to come to the area to make it easier for folks to weekly lessons,” says McMullen.

From music lessons to instrument rentals, Foster says quality customer service is what keeps his business thriving.

“We couldn't do this without the passion involved. I've been a guitar player for 38 years and the idea is to teach people to be a better guitar player than I am,” says McMullen.

When it comes to advice for other small business owners, Foster’s music theory is all about staying optimistic.

“When there's no other choice, move ahead because that's the only thing you can possibly do is to strive harder to go forward,” added McMullen.
