Working Meth Lab Discovered In Bibb County

Celeste Smith

A South Bibb County man is behind bars, after deputies discover a working meth lab inside his carport.

Public Information Officer Sergeant Sean DeFoe of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office tells NewsCentral, Kelvin Henry, is under arrest charged with Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Probation Violation Superior Court, and Trafficking Schedule II Drugs.

DeFoe says investigators served a search warrant at the home on Liberty Church Road and found the methamphetamine lab and several grams of the finished meth product.

Henry is being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex without bond.
