Woman Cited Following Bibb Dog Attack

Updating a story WGXA brought you Monday night, a woman has been cited and two dogs taken to animal control after police say the 2 pit bulls attacked 2 children along with their mother.

The attack happened a little after 3 p.m. Monday at a Seminole Avenue home.

Macon Police Spokesperson Jami Gaudet says the 2 dogs attacked a mother and two of her children, ages 2 and 4, causing bite wounds.

According to the police report, Gloria Crosby said she was watching the dogs at the time. She was cited for failure to restrain the dogs and for the dogs not having rabies tags.

The two pit bulls are under quarantine at Bibb County’s Animal Control facility.

A neighbor helped stopped the dog attack by fending the animals off with a stick.
