.
More than 200 people gathered to hear three different bands
at the Cox Capital Theater for the fifth annual Weaver's Weekend. Friends of Mike Weaver said the event is a way for them to get together once a year to share memories of Mike while raising money for youth sports in Macon.

"I absolutely love getting to see all the people that Mike touched in his life carry on through the event,” co- chairman of the event and friend Adam Dukes said. “Everyone gathering and you know remembering Mike and having a great time doing it and just seeing all the people that he impacted."

Dukes said he and other organizers hope to raise about $5,000 and all proceeds will go to a baseball scholarship and other charities.
