Washington County Drug Bust Sends Familiar Face to Jail

A joint drug investigation in the Washington County community of Tennille yields an ounce of ice, a handgun and a familiar face to the county jail.

Around 7 Friday morning, Washington County deputies and other agencies put the cuffs on 52-year-old John Veal.

Veal is facing new charges of meth possession with intent to distribute and using a gun during a felony.

Veal has previous meth charges pending against him from another incident in June of 2012.
